Never mind...
Somehow text-decoration: blink; got inserted in the body tags pf some of my style sheets.
(I'm going to blame it on being wasted on pain pills last month) 
Seems the Mac browsers and Windows IE have enough sense to ignore the blink tag.
Doing a search and replace and then a rsync on all my domains now.
