It's that day of the year again when Americans eat with friends and relatives until they get sick or pass out on the couch, whichever comes first.
We are eating with Christy's folks today.
Bought an Apple pie and a carrot cake last night to bring to today's dinner. So today we will bring the Apple pie and what is left of the carrot cake with us as we head over there.
Our bedroom 50" rear projection TV died a few weeks ago. I see that Brandsmart has a 32" LCD on sale today for $149 so probably going to pick that up for the office and temporally move the old office CRT TV to the bedroom until we spot a good deal on a 50" flat screen for the bedroom. I called DirecTV to see what it was going to cost to switch out these two standard def receivers for HD receivers and they said that they will give us HD DVRs for free with no extra monthly fees since I've been with them for so many years.
