In the USA you either get way overpriced insurance with copays and deductibles so high that you go bankrupt if you get a major illness or you die early from lack of medical care, just plain fucked up.
Looks like that lovely low in the Gulf has caused us to cancel all our plans for this weekend. Instead we will be stocking up on gasoline and food just in case it intensifies and heads our way. Yesterday I fired up the generator and ran it for ten minutes just to make sure it was running properly.
Other than preparing for the worst and hoping for the best just a light day of work and talking pics of Christy this evening for her birthday.
