The only fan I'll ever buy again.
We have one of these, my mom has two - they are fantastic, they use two different CF bulbs, easy to change, remote with a thermostat, so, you can set the remote to 77 and it'll control the fan speed. The fan was designed by the Florida Solar Energy center:
Gossamer Wind and they are extremely quiet even at high speed and they move a ton of air. They were designed by the guy that made the propellers for the Gossamer Penguin (human powered plane). If I had the time, I would replace the rest of our ceiling fans with them.
Regrettably, only sold at Home Depot.
