Good morning world

From the rainy and dark from being cloudy Keys. Was thinking of running some errands this morning but now it looks like it'll be an all-inside kind of day.

I was glad to see Curiosity make a safe landing. And I really do hope that it does eventually find some signs of life of any kind. I know it's improbable that it would be currently living or what we might call "intelligent life," but I'll take whatever I can get.

My neighbor commented that it's purely a waste of 2 billion dollars that we could use down here. Then when I said I was glad we're exploring Mars told me that we shouldn't discuss this because we'll just argue since it's like religion and politics.

Personally I have no problem discussing religion, politics, or space exploration. I only have a problem with people who think there are some things you shouldn't discuss.

Wishing a good new week to all.
