Ok, that makes sense.
BUT what if you got an AVS site accepted by a Link List, then you went and made a Free Site out of the elements of your AVS (Warning Page, Main Page Listing Galleries, Galleries) took out some images since my AVS have more images than I'd like to give away for free, and set the whole thing up with a new URL?
example:
avs - rootdomain.com/avs/site1/
free site - rootdomain.com/freesite/site1
I'm not trying to get over on anyone, either. I genuinely want to know what you guys, as Link List owners, think of this.
I'm thinking that if a Link List separates AVS and Free Site listings, then the cheap bastards going after the Free Sites never got a chance to see my AVS site. Or the people who have an AVS membership are gonna skip straight past the Free Sites and get what they paid for, so they'd never see my Free Site.
Then again, if the sites are listed together then it looks pretty weird having the same site in two different formats (free and avs) in the same list. But, if there were a delay of a couple of weeks, then they wouldn't be listed at the same time, and I'd hit both surfers - cheap bastards and the people who pay.
Now that I've confused you all, I will take this time to thank you all for taking the time to answer what I've asked so far. I really do appreciate it.
(you guys are gonna cringe the next time you see me post a question, right??)
