Some of the youtube videos at the Lake Worth Inlet are hilarious.

The beach is only 16 miles from the house and ended up with a 50 mile round trip. Lake Okeechobee is 31 which was a 66 mile r/t. The last 20 miles of the Lake O ride had headwinds at 18mph with gusts to 26mph, and a pelting rain that wasn't hard enough to justify putting on the rain jacket.

People spearfish and snorkel around the Lake Worth Inlet. The more exciting one for boats is Boynton Inlet.
