If a webmaster has very specific niche traffic, selling the surfer on the specific point they are hot for using a FPA that links straight to the join page can work a lot better... sometimes sending them to a tour can just confuse them and make them hesitate when they are already ready to purchase.
If a program doesnt seem to police it properly... I would always be concerened about them staying in business and being able to pay though.
