My landlord manages it quite easily. He simply gets everyone to pay rent via direct debit, so he does not have to come and collect it (or even bother cashing cheques), and then lets the building fall down around the tenants. After all, who needs an
entire rear wall on a building? ?Half a wall is good enough for anyone!!!
He visits about twice a year, just before each twice yearly inspection, to clean up and fix up enough to pass local housing laws, then fucks off again.
It is so long since I've seen the landlord myself that I would have forgotten what he looked like if I did not have a photograph of him pinned to the dartboard!
