That is not exactly what I meant. I meant the Exodus actually happened. The "miracles" may have happened (either coincidence or genuine "acts of God") or they might never have happened, and the stories got exaggerated by retelling before the story was written down (the earliest description of the Exodus we have was written generations after the events actually occurred).

You know, I find it easier to believe that God parted the sea than I do to believe that someone actually enjoyed Battlefield Earth! If the film had not been a piece of religious dogma for a crank religion it would still have been necessary to mock it, simply because it was a really bad movie!
