Ohhh God! I discovered that the worst thing that can happen to you in a hospital is not medical:
I had an appointment that was made over the telephone, and was in an area of the hospital I have never visited before. So when I arrived I ended up in the wrong department. Eventually realised I was probably not where I should be, there was no reception desk in the area I was waiting (just a sign saying basically "Sit and wait, a nurse will be with you soon"). So I found an office, knocked on the door and asked the person in the office if I was where I should be. They took my details and began 'phoning round the various departments.
Eventually she worked out where I should be. Rather than give me directions and risk me getting lost again, she took me over there. And rather than let me sign in at the reception, she did that too. And although she worded it better than this, she basically said:
"I found this senile old man wandering lost and confused in the corridor. Is he one of yours?"

It was big news over here. A Brit winning at last (first in 20 years). We tend to ignore the fact that your guy went to pieces in the back nine, and choose to believe that the result was entirely due to our guy's brilliant playing!
