Woken up this morning at a quarter past seven by a puppy forcing a chew toy in my face to say "If you are not going to get up and give me breakfast, at least get up and play with me." (They are normally fed at seven, but as I had not got to bed until 1:30, I was late.)
Today there was a "kayak-a-thon" just down the river from where I walk the dogs. It seems that kayaking is more dangerous a sport than I thought because on the way home I passed the car park for the event and saw a group of about ten pirates (in full Johnny Depp style costume) getting ready to pillage the kayaks!
