1st & foremost, I'm a Buffalo Sabres fan, but we all have secondary teams we root for when they're not playing our team.
Personally, I'm an NY Islanders fan from back in the 80's when they were winning everything & I was just getting into hockey. This means I
HATE the NY Rangers
But I have a good friend that's a true Rangers fan - even over Buffalo - and I still let him in the house (I did buy a Rangers flag & hang it upside-down on my flag pole a couple years back)
That being said, it's not so much who you're a fan of IMHO, it's that you're a fan of hockey
