Therein lies a fundamental problem : quality. I read about how people think all the crappy free sites ruin the industry. Sure, I'm against them, and they certainly don't help matters. But the buck stops with sponsor sites. Too many of them suck. One problem (for us and sponsors) is this is bad for recurring memberships. A greater problem - more in the long term - is the effect this has on ALL kinds of signups. When a surfer with a CC gets burned, he doesn't forget . . .
