Angry Our Up to date Government

I send all of our content we shoot to be registered with the Library of Congress about once a year. It’s usually 20 cd’s or so of images. But this last time I decided to burn it on DVD since I can get 4.7 gigs of images compared to 700 mbs and this would save time, and $ for cd’s and shipping.

Well, I messed up the paper work (my fault) so they wrote me an email and after a some discussion we cleared up the issue, they resent me the paper work, I made the correct changes and sent it back which added a few months on the time it takes to process.

Then yesterday I finally got my certificate of copyright…. So I thought….

They can not read the DVD’s since they do not have a DVD rom. Is that nutty or what? I would think they would have up to be up to date with the current PCs technology when dealing with multimedia since THAT IS THEIR JOB.

So here I am burning cd after cd and I still have 32 to go. Nice way to spend the next day or so.

ho hum.......
