My experience is that its almost impossible to keep ratios up high enough to stay in the per click program so may as well look at it as a per signup program.
Also they recently had some sales rep call me at on my cell to try to get me to promote them.... ithey apparently are looking up high traffic domain names via whois and calling them to solicit business, a big no-no in my book.
On the flip side i do know people who do well with them. I just never did but your milage may vary.
