Yeah, that would be nice for webmasters, but I can think of a few reasons why content providers dont do that.
1.) It tells their competition exactly how much they're selling and which sets.
2.) Posting numbers still wouldnt mean much if the photographer sold the set to 20 different content providers.
3.) If a webmaster saw the set had been sold too many times, they wouldnt buy it, so the content provider would lose money.
