I like the paid yearly submit pass very much and if and when I go to paid submit I'll probably model mine after ActorGuy's system.
It isn't so much the money as it is I want to know how is really submitting to me and a token payment of about $100 per year seems about right.
This business is NOT a hobby for me, it is a majority of my income. It is very hard to compete with someone that is happy to only make a few grand or less a month doing this as a hobby. I like what I do but I do it to make money not have fun.
IMO hobbyists are very much a problem in this industry.
