As a health care worker in a hospital that had 5,000 workers represented by 7 different unions, I was paying about $8 per month for my single person coverage, and those with families were paying around $12 or $15 per month..... for dental coverage. Of course our general medical is free (in the sense that there is no charge to see a doctor, it is taken out of our taxes).
I do miss that dental plan though.
