Greenguy, yes I know that fact. Actually one my websites has a "friends" page with banners and a little text describing each link.

But even with those sites that have pages with "only" banners, and those sites who have a toplist page, I still do not understand the reason to be banned by a search engine, for trading traffic with a site similar to yours.

I mean what is actually the basis for being banned for having your website on somebody's toplist? Why would they punish you for that?
