I think this is more of a general behavior syndrome - call it "impulse-buying syndrome," maybe. It's only newsworthy because some of these folks put their obsessive buying fixation on (gasp! horrors!) SEX!.
I think a link to an organization that wants to ban credit cards would be a more precise addressing of the issue (and of course as equally counter-productive to our industry as "porn-addiction" groups, were the busybodies to actually have any impact - which they won't). |rasta|
