I've always wondered about something with Windows boot drives and backing them up.
On a Mac you can use a utility to clone the boot drive to another drive like a FireWire drive. Then if something happens to the boot drive the computer can be booted from the FireWire drive and it can then be cloned back so need to reinstall anything. I actually do this with my iPod when I go away so that I have a backup of my drive just in case.
Isn't there a way to do this with Windows?
