Well I paid for Lindows and to be quite honest was not satisfied what so ever so I went around and tried a couple other distros like Mandrake 10 Official and Suse 9.1 Personal.

I can say that SuSE has their act together and their OS looks kick ass. For those of you who have PC's are tired of viruses and have always wanted something like MacOS, take a look at SuSE. They are owned by Novell and their distro is killer, clean and runs well. Their YaST system management utility is killer and works just like a lot of the windows stuff.

I havnt tried any of the windows emulators on it yet, but its flying on my compaq 2.4 ghz laptop.

If you are still learly to get rid of your windows, it configures for dual boot and will actually partition the drive itself on install if you leave the defaults and you can setup a dual boot windows/linux box if you want to test it out. I am just trying to tweak my fonts a tad but everything is running great .. just have to get a few apps moved over and I'm sticking with it I think
