sgs001: Rape and rape themes are acceptable to most people as part of telling a story. However, they are not acceptable as the POINT of the story.
Rape / snuff / whatever for sexual pleasure is different from a movie, say "Mad Max" where there is a rape and murder scene. That is 1 minute for a 2 hour movie, and is used to make a point of the violent nature of that society at that time. They did not make a 2 hour movie of a girl getting raped a murdered.
Snuff, be it on film or be in as manga / anime is just as obnoxious and unwelcome as it comes.
We are in a business about pleasure, not death.
