Policing is a big pain in the ass, but it has to be done with every aspect of the Internet - mainstream or adult. Link trades go bad, people fuck up, internal 404's (not with me - LOL - but I assume there's some big sites that have that problem)
I don't mind reviewing that much, as it gives me ideas for upcoming sites
But then again, some of the submits we get....
Submitting doesn't bother me either - it's the least I can do for free traffic
And, like Cleo, DirectNIC is wonderful for keeping my domains in order
I don't so much hate the reaction that I get when I tell people what I do, it's the ignorant people that ask "You don't do CP, do you?" or "I saw this one site once where this guy had a fish & the chick...." I also hate that, since I work on a computer all day, I'm instantly some sort of "expert" for my family & friend's computer problems. I often tell them that I also watch a large amount of TV so I can help them with their remotes if they wish
Spam sucks, but regardless of what the US Gov't does, it ain't going anywhere.
I hate that this is pretty much the only human interaction that I get on a weekly basis & that I rarely have a need to leave the house
Changing link codes sucks ass, but we all know that
But, all in all, I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing & can really never see myself "retiring" - what the fuck would I do with myself all day?
