They get lost in the ocean of spam.
With me I've got my spam filters set so high that they sometimes get flagged as spam and I never see them.
Even if they do end up in my inbox I sometimes hit the spam button if it looks like spam in the first few words that I read without read the whole mail.
Spammers and e-mail viruses have ruined e-mail.
