I sincerely appreciate the compliments on the technology. And you are probably right, I am getting quite "short" and to the point on these things. I've been through about a hundred "polite" replies, sometimes twice from the same person......
What tends to twist my top is when I specifically say:
"Please don't send me info on content being resold for use on websites only. We aren't interested."
And then, I get back 10 links that say "we have great content for sale at ----porn---.com." I go look, and the only thing they have is web rights for other people's stuff. They didn't create it, they can't license it, and they are only selling it "for use on XX number of websites"
So I've invested 20 minutes of my time to talk to a guy who can't read. I'm beginning to get fatigued with boards in general, as I'm finding mostly this on the boards. (Not just this board, but most of them)
In fact, even after our exchange, I got ANOTHER person selling ONLY web usage rights that would "send me the license info AFTER I Bought it."
I'm a no bullshit guy, that pays top dollar for what we buy. And I just don't have time to waste.
I am, hoverer, keenly aware that what looks plain to me in writing, may not be as clear to others who have no idea what I'm talking about before they read our site. And, as you say, it is a new (relatively) and very different thing. So it's certainly possible that I'm Not being as clear as I would like, which is why your reply got my attention. I don't get too hung up on being called names, so that's not a big deal. I'm more interested in A: Do you NOW understand what we are talking about, if not, what is still unclear, and HOW could it be more clear to others?
