Oh, I don't know if it's "as smart as me," as much as it's exposure to the information.
It's funny, but you would think writing a user manual, or explaining how a program works would be an easy thing. But the worse people in the world to write a user manual/program description are the people that are presenting it. They have "inside knowledge" of it, and assume things are apparent and obvious, which, of course, they are to the creators. Unfortunately, to the incoming person never exposed to the item, it's all Greek.
Add to that, it's something new, and never done before, and you have a recipe for confusion.
So, I assure you, I have heard you "mom." :-)
I only wish I was as smart as I think I am......
