I forget why... but my cable was out... I missed the planes actually hitting... but I heard about it and dug out the little battery operated b&w tv and started watching. Soon I was online talking to a group of friends.
What sticks out most in my mind was when the towers went down... I was sitting hear open mouthed, watching it in shock on a 9" b&w tv.... it all seemed so surreal. The words I remember most are..... there goes the other one.......
