after reading this, I did a quick review of my domains and found an old domain that was being hotlinked (oops, missed putting up the htaccess anti-hotlinking script for that one domain). I found about 10 asian bbs systems were sucking up my bandwidth.

thanks for the reminder! also thanks for the great ideas for dealing with them.
