I actually only just checked, and the free host you're using is actually space provided by a sponsor so you should be fine with using it providing you get your own domain!!! Most sponsors providing free hosting (and most other free hosts) permit that you put your own domain onto their server. And these free sponsor hosting services usually don't cheat or 404 stuff unless you're breaking the sponsor's rule(s).

So that'll be only $8/year for a domain registration, and then learn about TGP galleries and get a few submit accounts before you you spend more (as long as you're happy to use this sponsor only for your galleries).
