Actually, you'll need to address your hosting situation now. Adult Paymaster is terminating their sponsor free host space. (Login APM and read 'what's new')
I've been where you are, and still am to some degree. I started out using 2 sponsors who offered free space, and had no paid hosting.
Then I added a small virtual account from Webair and began gradually submitting a gallery or two from other sponsors using the free space. I finally got to where I wasn't using one of the sponsor's free host space at all, and APM space only on days when it was time to submit to the Hun.
However, it now appears that I'll be moving my 2 domains off APM and onto paid hosting. No biggie really, outside of I'm not submitting to the Hun on paid hosting. Not at this stage of the game, and maybe not ever.
My advice to you is this: Forget TGP for now and go to free sites. Pick up a small virtual account. You'll need far, far, FAR less bandwidth for free sites than for TGP, so you can pick up hosting that should be $20 or less per month. (Side note: I really recommend Webair. They have great support and will upgrade you with no hassle)
Use free sites to cut your teeth. Utilize the richness of this board in terms of knowledge, resources, and contacts.
Build a hub. You've already got the sites, so it's not a big deal to make your own Link List/Fake TGP/hub/whatever you want to call it.
After you are starting to see some consistent sales with free sites and have fine tuned your marketing approach, *then* return to TGP if you want to. At that point, you'll be designing galleries with a more solid foundation, will make more sales, and thusly be able to cover the bwidth bill that is going to come with TGP.
You could, of course, find another sponsor who offers free host space. I have 2 domains on Serious Coin freespace, and SC has been really good to me. But as soon as I can, I'll be pulling those domains to paid hosting. You just can't get around the fact that you aren't really in control of your business unless you are paying for hosting. Not to mention that if you want to be considered 'for real' by most of the TGP's that matter (and virtually *all* of the LL's) you are going to have to pay for hosting.
I wish you much luck in your business venture
