Just got our cable back.
I had no idea how reliant I was until I didn't have web access or local news. We didn't lose power at all. I was watching my huge bamboo trees bounce on the ground and come back up through a tiny hole in my plywood. Amazing how flexible they are. Caught up on my reading. Baked chocolate chip cookies from scratch...It was not fun and we only had 75 mile an hour winds. I can only imagine what it was like on the East coast. Glad everyone else is okay.
Oh well, back to the grind and watching the tropics. Seems like we should have a clear weeked here for a change. Yay!
