TGP has become such a "who you know" type business and personally since I've been doing it for a few years, I think it's a good thing. Less competition.
However if I was just starting I'd be pissed that I can't get into the "inner circle". Unfortunately I don't know what to tell you other than try submitting to less big TGPs.
This isn't easy money anymore, you have to work at it now and find smaller TGPs that will list you and will be productive for you.
