Yeah kind of makes up for the hurricanes.
At least we only had to go through a few weeks of inconvenience. All our northern friends haver to go through a whole winter of hell.
It's a hot one here today with a high of 88F.
When the roof carpenter saw the big hole in my roof he told me how lucky I was since I'm getting a new roof paid for at least in part by insurance.
I'll have a waterproof roof by the end of the day and just talked to the tile guy who says he can start on my bedroom next week.
I can't begin to put into words how happy I will be to be able to sleep in my bedroom again soon even if after that I'm pretty much ripping apart the rest of my house once I'm all moved back into that side of the house.
