At Alexa yes... based on users with the Alexa toolbar coming from our sites to yours. Alexa bases it measurements on the domain name.

There would be little direct benefit for http://www.chopsmiths.com/ as the sites(FHS) we list dont link back to http://www.chopsmiths.com/

The recip I am asking about adding would be back to ya'll on chopsmiths.com/index.html

This would be good but not neccesarily beneficial in the SE's because of the query in the line...(see first post)

If you wanted to look for direct SE benefit Chop.. then create the LL(much as you have at http://www.chopsmiths.com/index.html) and [b]YOU]/b] will get the SE benefit. You could then create a mirror for affiliates to link to as per what GG said above.

eg: http://www.chopsmiths.com/aff/index.html

I don't think this would benefit your site at all. The only benefit I see is the "free" link you are giving to the other site.

Wrong... Links to authoritative sites can help your site in some/most SE's

Links TO your site help your site. The recip link to my LL helps my LL, not your free site.

Wrong.... as above,.. plus the use of keywords in the recip/s can assist your (free)site.
