Yeah Netscape is less forgiving on tables but the newer version that is based on Mozilla seems pretty forgiving.
Netscape 4.7 was really the code police. I don't have it installed anymore since it only runs in Mac OS X's Classic environment and I don't even see it in my server stats anymore.
If you just code correctly to web standards that your pages will work correctly in everything.
