It's a very sad day here in the UK.

I'm sure there are many fans both within and outside the UK who will be saddened to learn of JP's death yesterday from a heart attack.

He championed many famous bands in his "Peel Sessions" and his late night shows on Radio One have been a part of many peoples' lives for the last 35/40 years.
