I don't see too much of a difference between adult and casino/gambling.
I guess it depends on your social circle, how liberal your family is, etc...
I wouldn't go around proudly stating I'm a porn salesman. But, I wouldn't go around proudly stating I was a casino salesman either.
My Mom and damn near everyone I know knows that I transitioned from regular web design to adult.
Even a conservative female friend just asked me some specifics when I told her what I was doing.
Everyone tends to think there is "easy" money in it so they fiigure ya may as well make some money off this internet thing somehow.
If people really are your friend's and they see you happy and doing ok, then it just shouldn't be a big deal.
The biggest misconception about this business (I think) is that it's nearly 100% men doing the selling.
