I believe smashingthumbs got kicked from google because I had that autogenerated nonsense text on some pages. These pages were getting only 1-2% of my total google traffic. Anyway, I was stupid enough to keep them on smashingthumbs and it gave all reporters strong weapon to their hands and google good reason to ban my ass.

The pages you mentioned were on smashingthumbs too, but they were gone within 24 hours after google indexed them.
They were just for testing purposes. I've deleted them all just a few mintures after linkster emailed me. I even set my server not to show my regular 404 for them

Well, as I said they were just testing pages and from that "greenguy" example, you can see the test worked.
I know a lot of guys were pissed at me ... for all concerned, I know it's little too late but:

PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES!

Now I know I should choose another domain to play with, because smashingthumbs had 1000's of quality backlinks and was very popular in google.
