Makes me glad our neighborhood is considered "poor" and we have a better subdivision next to us that gets the chaos while we enjoy our evening.
Regardless, my rottie will be coming along for the walk with the kids. She's nothing but a big suck, but she's huge. A big well trained dog makes people with any ideas think twice.
Sad it's come to this... just keep doing the best you can with your own kids (and it's damn hard when your kid who you've drilled manners into is continually getting the short end of the stick because of kids without any)
