W. has had four years to wreck this country while the rest of us looked on, stunned at what was happening to our country, while still carrying the party line that "He wasn't even elected." Well, heads up, kids - this time, as far as we can tell, he WAS elected. It's time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get active to change things.
Feeling let down? So is half the country, give or take a few percentage points.
This industry doesn't operate in a vacuum. A lot of people are very angry and ready for change. I've been frequenting some grass-roots blog sites that give me a lot of hope. They are out there. I'll be happy to make some suggestions, but the places I visit may not be the best, and they may not suit you. Do some searching on your own. Don't lie down and die. Commit yourself to changing things. We CAN take this country back. The worst thing we can do is give up.
