I could be wrong (and have been in the past on numerous occasions) but didn't ARS get rid of a lot of inactive accounts back in 2003 when the big changes happened?
Right or wrong, sponsors, boards, paysites, etc. delete accounts that haven't been active in X amount of days/months/years - especially if there's a big server or database move & they don't want to spend time importing dead accounts.

ARS rep says they dont delete accounts. I say bullshit and that they have deleted mine. And yes it is an old account one of the very first I created.
My original point was how it amazes me that someone would delete any affiliate account knowing the cost of acquring an affiliate is rather steep.
