New here...question about recips to link lists

Hello everyone!

I have a question about recips to link lists

Is it ok to put like 18 recips on the index page?

Or is it better to put like 9 recips on the index page?

I am trying to keep the number of mirror pages down to a miniumum
so i thought i would try to put like 18 recips on each mirror page
is that ok?

what is the "general rule" as far as this goes please help and thanks for the help and this is a great board from what i can tell
