Script Needed for Thumbnails on WP Sidebar

I am looking for a script/plugin that will put several thumbnails in say, rows of 2 or 3, and maybe 4 down etc (for a total of 12), and will fit in a wordpress blog sidebar (I can fiddle with the parameters) but will shuffle the thumbnails each time the page is refreshed.
Does anyone know where I could find something like this and is hopefully free?
