Zango Reportedly Shuts Down Operations

SEATTLE — Adware maker Zango apparently has shut down its operations.

XBIZ emails and calls to Zango’s Seattle office went unanswered after The Register reported that the company was forced to pull the plug on its business after it was left unable to pay off its debts.

Actually their affiliate program is still going strong and apparently will continue to go strong. Plus many of their employees are being moved to another company along with a lot of their 'technology'.

I think they are merely changing things around a little and link theft will be back stronger than ever.

I love how most anti-virus/anti-spyware software has them as one of the top threats but they go on strong

Apparaently a lot of the employees, and software are moving over to Blinkx.

One of the main partners has some detailed information on his blog at blog.wouldbetheologian.com about how things worked there, and what happened.

Lavasoft has an affiliate program for Ad-Aware. I dont know if they accept adult sites though.
