Back ups - defrag

Ok it's Sunday -
Time for weekly back ups
Defrag the hard drive(s)
Burn C/D's for back ups.

What do you do while watching football?
(assuming of course you're watching football)

Thanks for the reminder to defrag.. I hate doing that and always end up putting it off longer then I should!

I don't watch football but I do defrag and clean up my drives regularly, normally during a week day when the net sucks |goodnight

I work on my bike every sunday...Today I put on new handlebars and and engine guard. Oh yeah...I am about to change the oil.

I have a TV in my bike workshop so I can still watch football.

I backup all my domains to my local machine on Sundays and do other maintenance to them as well. I also burn DVD backups of important stuff.

I hate football and basically all sports on TV.

The OS that I run does not need defraging, but I did get to restore my laptop from a backup yesterday after Apple released an update, that has since been pulled, that hosed many people’s machines including mine.

Got an old friend coming over and we are doing dinner in a bit.

Sweet Bikes!
though why would you need to change anything?
(just curious - and completely mechanically inept)

I dont defrag anymore... too many bad experiences, and I dont trust WinBlows...

SQL db's get backed up most days to my local PC
and then backed up to another HDD.
and then to CD if important.

Stock HDs are a little weak. The air is choked off for environmental reasons and the engines could always use more power. Besides that, I change the fluids every 500 miles. Every winter I take the engine apart and clean everything. If anything is worn, I replace it.

you can't just buy a Harley and ride it. They need tender loving care.

The room you see it parked in is filtered, heated and dehumidified. I have often told my wife that she doesn't ever want me to have to chose between her and it.
