I don't get allot of traffic, but the traffic I get is well targeted to my niche
My sales at Tijuana-Whores suck, I have only made 19 new sales this month (a good way to go broke),
I have been trying to figure out what the problem is.
My Numbers
Search Engine hits to my hub original URL and new URL 7599 (1:400)
Search Engine hits to Tiajuanawhores.com and www.Tijuana-Whores.com 5137 (1:270)
Views of my 2 warning pages 6709 (1:353)
Views of main page 6411 (1:338)
Views of my join page 1363 (1:72)
I have 37 links to my Join page off of my main page how do I find out where these surfers are going because they aren't going to my join page

maybe you should do free sites and galleries and branch out and mabe do a latina traffic pump, plus putting all eggs in one spot can be bad.. if the site slows down other things will help and Its easy to say but hard to do.

I have a small hub Tijuanawomen that I send traffic to the warning page on Tijuana-Whores
I think 19 sales from 7599 targeted search engine hits suck. I just can't figure out why four out five visitors never make it to my join page
to find out what I offer and what the cost is.
Funny you should mention free sites just scored some content to build some but I'm not going to waste the traffic on Tijuana Whores

have you checked to see the exact s.e terms that are being used to get to your site, then maybe alter your landing pages to match the terms....for instance if you come up tops for "free tijuana girls" then pop up a page with a few freebies and an upsell type of link.

Or maybe it is something else to do with your site, has anything else changed recently, is your server getting too slow, does your page need refreshing?

Finally, it could be a change in your surfers computers - have you verified how your page looks with the new XP sp2 installed?

Pat dumb question but are you trying to sell maybe a paysite, because maybe not all your traffic wants to meet a date, and maybe they are just leaving.. Targeted traffic may think they are going to a site that has porn movies of whores in mexico..

I havent seen your sites that well but I'd give as many options I can without chasing them off and if they really want the info you have they will join and if not and they want something else have it there..

Just my oppinon as I'am no expert. But IMHO 1/400 for any traffic to get out there card is good..

19 new sales is fucking painful. Sorry to hear that. Have you tried any link trades? Back links are always a good thing.

I just realized it's a paysite.....I thought it was a TGP. Now the 19 new sales is looking even worse - in fact I'd be suicidal at 19 sales. Especially with having to buy content and stuff.

Anyway as the owner of several small paysites my advice is the following:

1. You don't have to have an affiliate program to have a paysite, but are there webmaster friends that you know who might promote your site for you? Give them 50% revshare or something and that will promote sales. You don't have to have a whole sponsor program, just ask friends if they'll put some links up for 50%.

2. Submit free sites and galleries promoting your paysite. I think 80% of my income comes from me promoting myself.

3. Buy paid listings promoting your site. Top listings on The Hun or even smaller TGPs will bring in some nice $$.

One more thing I'd suggest looking at your site. I would have a "sign up now" button on every page with the big picture of the girls. For instance on this page:

That way they have one less hoop to jump through to join. Put a signup now button on every one of those big images pages.

Plateman All the keyword phrases I have gone after are for the real thing, there are tons of sites that tell the Surfer that they are going to see real Tijuana Girls but only a few of us really do (Hell a member of this board has even started targeting Tijuana keywords with the promise of Tijuana girls only to direct the surfer to other Latina sites) . I added a council to a FPA with Free trials and a link to my hub on the join page at this point I'll try anything. (added the link to my hub 20 minutes ago and have all ready had 5 hits to it)

Chilihost every picture on my site is a landing page targeting a different keyword phrase. I took the cost of membership off of my join page a couple months ago and forgot about it, I think that might have been a major Fuck up.

JemC Thank You very much for taking the time to really go through my site and finding those broken links. Suicide is an option I hadn't considered ;-)) but I'll tell ya between closeing Tijuana-Escorts and just having to buy a new transmission for my car with money I had targeted for advertising my new site the word JOB has popped up several times.
I'm going to add a join button to all those pages and added one to my main page then build some more free sites. My members retention is pretty good thankfully but I want to wait until I have a better conversion ratio and see how the new 2257 regs pan out before asking anyone else to promote my site.

Glad I could help, even if very little. I'd suggest submitting some TGP too. Currently I hand submit to about 50 of the top TGPs that I have partnerships at (Mad Thumbs, AL4A, Pink World, etc) but I also use Chameleon Submitter to hit all the smaller guys. Chameleon Submitter is only $19.95 a month and even if you just make one sale you're making your entire month's money back on it. And with Chameleon Submitter it takes me literally 5 minutes to build the gallery and 5 minutes to submit the gallery. It's smaller TGPs but I end up getting probably 5-10 sales a month off them. Every little bit helps, right?

Here's a quick take on something that may be at least part of your problem. The impression I get from your tour is that this is basically a site for people who want an insiders guide on Tijuana whores. Since I and most of the world will probably never go to Tijuana, and even if I did I'm not sure if I'd want a whore, I would have zero interest in joining your site. That gives you a very narrow target audience, especially when most porn surfers are specifically looking for porn to whack off to.

If I were you I'd sign up for an affiliate program and promote a paysite as well. "Just Want Some Top Notch Mexican Porn? Click Here!" Guerilla Traffic (Their service and support is awesome) has a site called Border Whores that's almost the other side of the coin on what you're already promoting. I can't speak for the whole world but GT is converting better for me than any other program. Border Whores is targeted so closely to the niche you're already promoting that I don't think you'd have any problem converting some of those surfers that aren't making it to the join page. Let's face it, most porn surfers are pornmongers not whoremongers.

Pat: I think everyone here is making great points so I will do my best to add something of value.

I think your tour is very confusing for some of the reasons madmax clarifies. He correctly states that people may be coming just for content and not brothel info. I believe both of those types of content are vital elements of your site, and exclusive since not everyone has brothel access to get real photos or knowledge of the clubs, it makes you both an educational and entertainment site... both of those values need more clarification and illumination since that is what the tour is confusing about.

If you go to tgps for traffic then you have to have the content to bring people in since the majority of those folks will not be going to tj anytime soon. However, I imagine that kind of info is just what your se traffic wants. I recommend directing that traffic off to a "guide site" with a message board, then plastering your banners from that to the content pay site.

There are many brothel review sites and I also suggest contacting them for link trades, traffic purchase, etc.

If you are tied in with the clubs then what about the possibiliity of setting up a computer inside the bar with an email collection open for a tj brothel newsletter? ... that collection would also be put on all your other sites... guide, content, message board, etc.

I think your lucky to be getting 19 sign ups a month, I agree with the above that they probably expect en escort service but also one of your pages promised 19 pics of a certain model maybe 90 or even 40 or 50 + would work but 19 you need more than that to tempt a surfer to be honest the way she looked Id be wary of seeing cock in the rest of the pics she looked like a she male.

I think it might be MUCH better off as an AVS site because he can lure surfers to buy with the promise of: "Get all the content in here PLUS thousands more sites just like this one all for the same price!"

That way he still gets sign ups and the members get shitloads of content for the same price as his site. Maybe they wouldn't buy if it was just his site they were getting, but they might buy if it was his site + thousands of other AVS sites.
