Tons of steam is coming off the lake this morning. It got pretty cold here last night and pretty soon it will be Winter

I guess its time to break out the electric blanket again and get ready for snowmobiling season.

I get very skeptical when my bank gets too willing to do something. I have a line of credit on my house and the other day I stopped by my bank, Bank Of America, to order checks for it so that I would have checks for all the work I'm doing on my house. While I was there they asked if I would like an increase on it so I said "sure lets double it". Next thing I know I have the vice president of the bank filling out paperwork for me and asking me lot of dumb questions. He says that someone will be calling me and it should go through now problem. So yesterday I get a call from him telling me that it went through and would I like him to met me someplace so that I could sign the papers. WTF when did people from BOA start offering to met people someplace to bring them paperwork?

I'm going by BOA later today to see what is up. I don't even need this line of credit and only asked for it since they were offering it. I guess it will come in handy if my insurance companies are really slow in paying me but even then I probably will not need it as my present line of credit should easily cover all the work I'm doing.

Oh wait Mr Bill, today's carpenter, is at my front door to tell me that I have even more rotting wood on my soffits.

Damn...it is chilli here. Getting harder and harder to warm up in the morning. Very soon, I will have to turn my heat on. Of course, it is already on for our dogs at night

3 more friends of mine have decided to retire from the adult side so I bought their traffic pumps. More scripts to learn. The last 7 traffic pumps I bought the owners wrote their own code so I have no "manual" to refer to.

But since they are still my friends I can can get answers fairly easily

Yeah kind of makes up for the hurricanes.

At least we only had to go through a few weeks of inconvenience. All our northern friends haver to go through a whole winter of hell.

It's a hot one here today with a high of 88F.

When the roof carpenter saw the big hole in my roof he told me how lucky I was since I'm getting a new roof paid for at least in part by insurance.

I'll have a waterproof roof by the end of the day and just talked to the tile guy who says he can start on my bedroom next week.

I can't begin to put into words how happy I will be to be able to sleep in my bedroom again soon even if after that I'm pretty much ripping apart the rest of my house once I'm all moved back into that side of the house.
