Original Blues Brothers on DVD???
My 8 year old is into music. Since I did the AC/DC presents last year at Christmas, this year it is time for some Blues Brothers stuff.
The "Mission From God" House of Blues shirt has already been secured. But I really, really want to get him the DVD to go along with. He loves the movie. Specifically, I'm looking for The Blues Brothers (1980 DVD, Release Year: 1998) I've searched for 1.5 hours now, and it is either out of stock, or some heart stopping price. (ie, $55 at Amazon and not any better on Ebay or Half) Anyone have any DVD bookmarks that are for out-of-the-way shops where I might be able to find this? Thanks! Yes 2000 was a missed opportunity.
They should have used James belushi and put Dan Akroyd on a diet. A decent script would have been the final touch.  |

I bought a copy on Amazon back in 98 or 99 - it's unedited & has a lot of deleted scenes right in the movie - very cool

Yes, I did look there. They end up going between $40 & $50, which to me is just nuts. But I really, really appreciate you taking time to track down a link for me. @ GG Well, I don't know either. It can make me lust for that which I don't have, I suppose. And since lust is 'posed to be a sin, I can add it to my sin portfolio. |
